More Research Means Better Mortgage Options

At GoPrime of California, we are dedicated to education. We want all of our homebuyers to walk away from the experience feeling comfortable with every step they took, and it’s important to us that you’re informed about the process. We have learned that more research means better mortgage options for our clients, so we want to provide some resources to help boost your mortgage education

Shop Around

It may sound counterintuitive that we’re telling you to shop around since we want to have your business. But we understand that finding the right mortgage is much more important than shoehorning your experience with a company that doesn’t match what you’re looking for.

By working with us first, we will work hard to find you the best possible mortgage option. If that turns out to be with someone else, that’s okay.

Don’t Settle

Studies show that many second-time home buyers put in less research to find the right mortgage than they did the first time around. They are more likely to settle for something easy rather than something that works for them.

However, for homebuyers who do shop around or work with an independent mortgage lender to help them find the best product, they are happier with their long-term choices.

Don’t Fall into Old Habits

And just because you got your first mortgage through a bank doesn’t mean that your second mortgage should be through the same source. Falling into old habits may be the path of least resistance, but it may not get you the best deal.

We’ve also mentioned frequently that we encourage homebuyers, first time and otherwise, to contact us before beginning to look at homes. If you find a dream home before determining your financing, you may be unpleasantly surprised.

Get More Opinions

We also know that a lot of people make purchasing decisions based on word of mouth. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. We’re happy with our success stories and we are grateful that we have customers who return to us or refer us to others.

But we also know that there are a lot of potential opinions about mortgages, shopping, and more. And the more informed you are, the better you will be at making a choice that’s right for you.

At GoPrime of California, we feel that education is one of the most important steps to making good long-term financial decisions. If you want to know more about mortgages, the financial impact, and the products available, call us today. We’re available to walk you through the options and find the best mortgage product for you.  Contact Zachery Adam and the team at GoPrime
